Helwig and Douglas's scientific research played a crucial role in unraveling the mystery behind the alleged MacDonald sketches currently on view at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the exhibition J.E.H. MacDonald? A Tangled Garden, and this talk will delve into the science and art of authentication within the context of their research.
